About Barbara

Hello and welcome to my website.  I do hope to get to know you personally!

My lifelong drive to touch lives and to make a difference has seen me through a thirty-four year career as a teacher, counsellor, motivational speaker, mediator, emergency response support worker, and education consultant with Edmonton Public Schools. A side career as a professional singer, entertainer and master of ceremonies in a number of settings for children and adults has also been a continuous source of delight and adventure.

These prior career paths have morphed into what services you see offered here today.

In support of these roles, I hold a B.Ed. and B.Msc. I an ordained minister with formal training as a counsellor and mediator. I have had the pleasure of performing a wide variety of weddings and other ceremonies.

The mother of two grown children and step-mother-friend to seven, I am recently a grandmother.  These roles mark my greatest joy, most demanding life struggle and most important life accomplishment!

Our homes in Edmonton and Vernon allow me to keep in close touch with the people I love best.  I am a one hour plane ride from either residence and embrace our visits to both homes regularly, either to reconnect with my people and my roots, or for business.

I trust that you will find me to be:
a sensitive and wise listener
an inclusive, loving heart
a competent, enthusiastic guide
a first class presenter with positive energy.

Simply put , my service to you is meant to be grounded in Love. It would be my honour to serve you.
"It is my belief that every person on this planet is worthy and deserving of love. We are all connected and truly in this together! Family, Friends, Animals and nature are very important to me. Love, Laughter and Kindness are essential to the well being of the human spirit."
